International Olympiads 2010
Summing up the results of the national contests
After the completition of this year's contest cycle, the Computer Society of Macedonia announced the teams for the international olympiads in Informatics - BOI and IOI. You can find them on the Society's web-site (link). Around 80 competitors participated in this year's contests. Some of them earned medals and awards for their results. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate them and to thank all competitors for participating in this year's contests.
Regional competition 2010
The results are published on CS's web site
The regional competition took place on saturday, 20.03.2010, and was held online. The results can be found on CS's web site (link), where you can also find the list of invited participants for the national competition (link). All students that want to participate at the national competition in informatics must be checked-in by their mentors at natprevar [at] gmail.com no later than 07.04.2010. All further communication will be held with the mentors, by electronic mail.

We invite all elementary and high school students from Macedonia at this years competitions in informatics, organized by the Computer Society of Macedonia. The best competitors will represent our country at this years balkan and international olympiads in informatics. JBOI 2009: Medal for Denis Maznikar
Denis Maznikar won a bronze medal at JBOI 2009
At this year Balkan Olympiad in Informatics, which took place on November 28, 2009, in Shumen, Bulgaria, Denis Maznikar won a bronze medal in the junior competition. As usual, competitors from Romania and Bulgaria split the gold and silver medals.
IOI 2009: Contest Summary
14-year-old Henadzi Karatkevich wins IOI 2009
At the 2009 International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI), held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, 14-year-old Henadzi Karatkevich from Belarus beat out 18 and 19 year-olds to achieve the highest score. The teams from China and Korea both won 3 gold medals. China had the highest aggregate score. Macedonia was represented by Mladen Dimovski, Deniz Dzhumkar, Gjorgji Janceski and Hristijan Bogoevski (contestants), and Mile Jovanov and Emil Stankov (leaders).
